Additions to VAM dB
We have added a new feature to the templates, the ability to group them in the full version of VAM dB. You can now setup as many groups to organize your templates and easily find the one you want to send from a lead or client's record. With the ability to setup as many templates and groups, send email individually or automatically based on events, and the ability to print individual letters or batch print them you can easily stay in touch with and market to your leads and clients in VAM dB.
Mail servers are also now able to be set to private or available to all users i your database. A number of other behind the scenes additions were made to improve service and prepare for future upgrades. We appreciate all ideas from customers to provide the best possible product.

Buying Internet Leads?

Update to the Automated Emails
We have added additional options to the automated emails to allow you to further target your intended audience. Automated emails can be sent based on a date event and filtered by the agent, source of the lead and type of lead. Automated emails or drip marketing allow you to stay in contact with your leads through the sales process, your clients for years to come and keep your name in front of those who didn't buy so when the time is right you can get the sale. Setup once and your done, emails are sent daily based on the criteria you sent.

Commissions updated in VAM dB
Today we have added some features relating to commissions in VAM dB. A link has been added to get to the commission screen from the policy section of the client record. On the enter commission page when adding a new schedule for a client you can use the amount or percentage fields for the commission or bonus from the policy screen of that client. New links are next to the amount field and clicking on them will place the appropriate amount in the field. Also four new projected reports have been added, one for agents, insurance companies, general agents and one for referral sources of your leads.
VAM dB can track all insurance commissions regardless of how you get paid or pay the agent's in your office. It is flexible by default and completely customizable to meet any unique needs you may have. Please contact VAM dB support with any questions.

Pruco has pulled their forms from the Compulife forms library, see their mid month update for more. Compulfe requested everyone to call or email Pruco to reverse decision and keep their forms available. With one company out, both Lincoln Life & Annuity Company of NY and Lincoln National Life Insurance Company have been added to Compulife's forms library and VAM dB. Both companies forms are fillable and will begin mapping client data to the apps next week. If you write direct with other companies, let them know to add their forms to Compulife as well. There is no charge and help agents access forms and sell their products.

New Features added to VAM dB
We have upgraded all VAM dB systems with some new features. Please read below and let us know if you have any questions on these new features. As always your ideas are always welcome as we continually try to improve upon our service.
1. New easy start process - Add, Quote, Sell...
2. New notes and follow up format. New option for Completing Follow Ups.
3. Ability to search emails sent and notes.
On the Home tab in the upper right section you previously could add a new lead. You still can but we have improved and renamed this section: Easy Start Lead Process. For new life insurance leads you can enter a name and a source of the lead and click to Begin the Easy Start process. This takes you to a screen where you can enter more data to run a quote. Then from the quote results you can save the quotes, email them right away to the client and or sell a product. This creates a new policy record in their file with all the data from the quote and if we have that companies forms in the system you can package them and then order an exam. If you are setup with Portamedic you will be taken to that order screen Otherwise you will have an order screen with the option of ordering from Superior Mobile Medics or APPS. After ordering the exam you can enter a follow up to check on this case in the future as well as add a note and email the client. You can stop at any point in the process and go into the client record. You can also begin the process from within the lead's record in the Tools box to the right of their name next to the Mapquest link: Easy Start. This new process takes you quickly and easily through each step and should help save you time.
On the lead and client record we have created a new format for the Notes screen and Follow Ups. By default we have not changed your view, but you have the option to change to the new format or stay with your current format if prefer. Click on the My Account tab and then Database Info. One of the fields here is for Notes & Follow Ups Display - you can select the Original or New Design here. The new format is a bit easier to read in each section and has one new feature for the follow ups. There is now a complete link for each follow up that isn't done. With this it has an option at the top to mark it complete, but also a field to enter a note on what you did as well as to add another follow up for the next time you need to contact. So now you don't need to go into multiple screens to update a record after a phone call. From your follow up list (the Calendar tab) next to the name of the person assigned to the follow up is a + link. This new Complete Follow Up screen is now an option from here as well.
On the Leads/Clients tab in the Search Database section the row above Order By at the bottom is Field. In this drop down you can select other fields to search. We added the option to search the Body of Notes and Body of Email Sent. Also on the Messages tab in the Email section is a link to Search All Emails. Here you can search by date sent and the subject and body of the email.

Searching additions to VAM dB
A number of new searching options have been added to the Leads/Clients tab in VAM dB allowing you to further search and drill down into your search results. These new options are at the bottom of the search section and include more options for lead type, health, employment and more. Also added were links in the production reports to drill down into the results and see which cases make up the numbers in the report. More new searching, drill down and new reports will be coming next week and next month as well.
